It is a very exciting time for iBookMyTrips.com!
We have launched this website to bring together resources online for the everyday, travel consumer. Yes, we are all everyday consumers – even if we do not go traveling or shopping today, we still consume food, energy, and more.
Our hope at iBookMyTrips.com is to help all of us consumers to balance our lives with some kind of conserving, too. There are so many ways to “Start Small and Think Big,” when it comes to making choices as consumers. Whether we are making choices as individuals, families, on behalf of our companies, clubs or groups, we have several options to Go Green. Sometimes, you need to be a little creative.
Hundreds of companies, that do not get or seek much media attention, have taken great care to become more eco-friendly. We will be highlighting many of these groups, organizations and individuals on iBookMyTrips.com.
For the companies advertised on on our site, we make no claims as to their “greenness,” however, iBookMyTrips.com will be donating a portion of our proceeds from the affiliate advertising on our website to an eco-friendly non-profit, iClickGreen.org.
We think you will find the information here useful and visit us often. Soon we will be starting a “Postcard Post,” where you can let us know about your trips! You need to read our user agreement located on our site, we are not travel agents. This free resource is provided as a convenience only. With all of the trips we take, we know it will be beneficial to put back (re-use) some of the funding we generate from travel purchases towards the growing needs of our environment.
Please keep in mind that the items and specials listed on our site will change frequently. You can only get any travel specials listed by clicking through the links that we provide. A word about coupon codes that are included in some of the banners, they only work if they are used when you start from a qualifying website (like us). Remember, when you click on the the graphic or pictures that you see on our website, you will be brought to that company's site to browse or to place an order. Soon we plan to bring you more exclusive travel deals that will be available only here at iBookMyTrips.com, stay tuned!
Several pages on our site are still under construction. We will be providing a growing directory of information, content and options you can use, everyday, to make a difference. Collectively, the benefits to our planet and to each other can be significant.
